Spring Mud

Spring Mud is a loofah seed packaging made of a luffa sponge, which is good for cultivating seeds. It not only replaces traditional plastic packaging but is also good for growing seeds because it is fibrous structure and water absorption are similar to soil. The inspiration comes from the process of cultivating seeds. To obtain loofah seeds, we need to get dried old loofah and discard the remaining luffa sponge at the same time. Therefore, we reuse the discarded luffa sponge to make the loofah seeds packaging, which makes it easier for users to let the loofah seeds sprout. The luffa sponge also provides nutrients for the seedlings that are subsequently planted in the soil. Through the research on the loofah packaging, we found that it makes the loofah seedlings grow taller and have a stronger lodging resistance.
